WE INTERRUPT THIS TRANSMISSION

Here at 'iusedtodancewithmydaddy' we're not adverse to a little pop music. Especially when it comes courteousy of one Justin Timberlake, aka The Trousersnake. Heck, in my opinion, pop is what makes the world go round.

JT has been working on his second album with the revered Rick Rubin, the uber producer behind artists such as The Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, as well as delivering tracks with collaborators Timbaland and the Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am,

Sexy Back, the new single by Justin Timberlake is out in a few weeks. Stereogum's calling it the most boring song destined to be No 1 ever. I'm inclined to partially agree. It's got the right ingredients (nice distorted bassline, phat bottomed out sounds, irregular beats and some interesting tweaks on the vocals), but loses it a bit in the middle and after the first minute or so you realise The Trousersnake's sounding like Missus Snake rather than Mr.

Still no doubt it'll race to the top of the charts upon it's release. This'll be all over the blogs after the weekend so if you want it first then download it quickly.
