Signed to Virgin Records, Jamie T is a 20-year-old brilliantly cheeky & intelligent singer/songwriter from Wimbledon, (South of the Bridge) in London.
He's getting props recently in all the right places - Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe made 'Salvador' his single of the week and 'Back In The Game' his Hottest Record In The World. His infectious story telling and ragga style tunes are eclectic, catchy and winning him fans all over.
His latest track, the catchy "Sheila" was released on July 3rd in the UK and debuted at No.22 giving him his first hit track with national UK based exposure. More cudos for 'Sheila' too with it being 'playlisted' by radio 1 and featuring as Jo Whiley's 'Record of the Week'.
His live shows are apparently off the hook and feature only him and his acoustic bass guitar, but vividly capture the attention and imagination of those in the audience.
He runs his own label Pacemaker Records through which his Panic Prevention Disco & self recorded EP were released, but these days he's signed to Virgin whom are backing his rise.
