I FEEL LIKE DANCING!

Bust out your dancing shoes - Scissor Sisters are back to cause dancefloor destruction & mayhem once again with their upcoming album 'Ta Dah' due to drop this September/ October worldwide. The album see's the group once again explore their Electro Glam Rock roots as they draw infludences from disco, pop and dance with front man Jake Shears promising '60's era pyschidelia' influences on the album.

The band, who formed in 2001 are currently touring Australia as part of the Splendour in the Grass festival and their own one-off Sydney solo show at the Luna Park Big Top on Wednesday July 26th. Tickets to the solo show sold out in under an hour and the only place to find them now is on Ebay.

Their music, which generally echoes not only Elton John, but also the Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Duran Duran won them 3 2005 Brit Awards (Best International Group, Best International Album & International Breakthrough Act) and in 2005 they were one of the lucky few bands in the world to be asked to perform at the Live 8 concerts to an international audience.

Buzz on the new album 'Ta Dah' has been growing as the launch date grows closer and some of their live performances in the last year since production on the album began have included unveiling of new material such as 'Everybody Wants the Same Thing', 'Paul McCartney' and 'Forever Right Now' amongst others.

The first song to be leaked to the Internet is 'I don't feel like dancing' on which Elton John plays Piano and Babyface plays banjo. It's a track hugely reminiscient of the Bee Gee's - one of the band's main influences - and sets the tone for the coming album.
