Keep Me Hangin On

Ok.. so it seems like I couldn't really stay away. Maybe it was just a bit of a self pity moment.

If you're down with
Resident Advisor (they have MySpace and a FaceBook group!), you'd know about the PodCasts.

The RA Podcasts bring a brand new mix every week delivered to your iTunes. From the amazing 001 by Troy Pierce to ones that were personally more my flavour like Digitalism, Headman, MANDY and Joakim.. they're crossing boundaries and doing all that jazz. (Not reall jazz, but I'd dig that if they did). I've been told on the downlow to look for upcoming podcasts by
Radioclit thats going to rock my world, Goon & Koyote (chyeah) and some other great stuff in the pipelines. So make sure you subscribe that shit to your iTunes!

Here's a song because I like you

Eve - Mr Tambourine Man

"If you have two loaves of bread, sell one and buy a Lily"

Or so says the old Chinese proverb!

She's gone from MySpace Queen to new Queen of Pop in under a year and yet she's managed to remain true to her online roots. Whether that's by tricky marketing or her own prominent tastes in the music and the people she works with (Aaron La Crate, Mark Ronson, Robbie Williams and now Radioclit) remains anybodies guess.

Either way I don't know how I managed to miss this superb remix until now. I'm blaming work being super busy and the fact that I've been trying to stay off the net during the day (so as to get the super busy work done).

Anyhow. This Radioclit remix of Lily Allen's LDN is a perfect choice of remix style. It's grimey, gritty, and a perfect choice to demonstrate London's (sometimes not so obvious) charms.

Grab it here.
