I recently had the pleasure of being lucky enough to hear the Cassius play 7 times in one week! They came equipped with very little - one record bag, an effects unit (and buckets of French charm) and yet every set sounded uniquely different to the last.Whilst traveling light in terms of reportoire, they had filled the bag jam packed with Cassius classics; La Mouche, 1999, (instant classic) Toop Toop and this tune; Feeling for You - all of which received a raptorous response each time they were dropped.
They've now (sadly) returned to France where they've begun touring for their new Cassius (live) project; a project which should take Cassius to a whole new level as their catalogue of songs receives the live treatment. You can check out footage of them live on their MySpace page.
Additionally they've just launched an online remix opportunity. The plan is to release an album of the remixes that come into them, so if interested hit up www.myspace.com/cassiusworkshop to get cracking on a remix.
