"If you have two loaves of bread, sell one and buy a Lily"
Or so says the old Chinese proverb!
She's gone from MySpace Queen to new Queen of Pop in under a year and yet she's managed to remain true to her online roots. Whether that's by tricky marketing or her own prominent tastes in the music and the people she works with (Aaron La Crate, Mark Ronson, Robbie Williams and now Radioclit) remains anybodies guess.
Either way I don't know how I managed to miss this superb remix until now. I'm blaming work being super busy and the fact that I've been trying to stay off the net during the day (so as to get the super busy work done).
Anyhow. This Radioclit remix of Lily Allen's LDN is a perfect choice of remix style. It's grimey, gritty, and a perfect choice to demonstrate London's (sometimes not so obvious) charms.
