Diplo (and his bike!) are legends. Not just half-assed leg-ends but legend of the "dayum you make superb music to rock out to!" variety.And that's my favourite type of legend quite frankly!
In typical 'Diplo's on fire' style, the first signing to his Mad Descent label were Brazilian's 'Bonde Do Role', are now well on their way having been given the Diplo seal of approval. Their recent US tour featured Diplo, CSS & Bonde Do Role themselves, clearly one of the best lineups in recent times to grace the stages of Baile Funk.
Featuring DJ/MC Rodrigo Gorky, MC Marina Ribatski and MC Pedro, their name means 'The Rollercoaster Band' when translated and their sound is a unique combination of baile funk/funk carioca combined with random samples that shouldn't work, but somehow do.
If you like CSS you'll love these guys. In fact even if you don't like CSS you should check out these guys just cos Diplo's bike rates them.
