HIT THE ROAD JACK...

I f*cking love this track. You should f*cking love this track. Everyone should be in love this track & the world would finally be filled with the type of music that is warm, intelligent and... French.

It's a tune that makes you reminisce. For what exactly? I'm not sure. But you definitely reminisce and pine and hope. Perhaps individually, but possibly actually all three at once.

That's right, it softly grabs at your heart strings, drags them to your guts and then leaves them to get busy on the dance floor.

I think it could be track of the year. So start playing it to everyone you know.

(Incidentally, a Rubicon is a type of Jeep - the film clip for Rubicon features a girl going to get her license in a roadworthy type automobile, albeit not a jeep. Useless, but hugely relevant fact really).

The Rubicon, in ancient times, was the boundary between Italy and Gaul; Caesar's crossing it with his army in 49 BC was an act of war.

Rubicon has come to mean "a line that when crossed permits of no return and typically results in irrevocable commitment".

It is literally the point of no return!

Oh! I love this track too, 80's style synths for the win!

I used to dance with my daddy said...
